Week 13 Devlog


Week 13 was the week of the Beta playtest, This week we had two levels for our selected testers to go through. 

The feedback we received this time was an improvement and very helpful over the previous playtest, we used online surveys this time which allowed playtesters. Because of the sparse number of people with VR headsets, it was difficult to find people to playtest but in the end, we managed to find 6 or 7 people to playtest. Some key feedback we received was about the difficulty of the second level towards the end where the player must climb the mountain using some platforms, the feedback stated that the platforms were too small and that players would bounce off the walls when attempting to land on them, to fix this I simply made the platforms smaller and require less of a distance to jump up to the next one, I also added some platforms off the edge of the mountain as a safety net in case players fall from the final platform before the top of the mountain. I also edited part of the interior cave to increase the difficulty of the level.
