Week 10 Devlog


This week I prepared for the playtest that is going to happen during class time. I prepared an alpha build of the game to be playtested by the first years. Last week we submitted personalised playtest sheets to be filled out by the first years during the playtest. Currently, the alpha build of the game consists of a main menu which is interacted with by moving your character into the "Cave" that leads to the indicated level. There is also currently one level to be played with the hopes of adding a second level for the Beta playtests to allow a variety of testing. An issue I faced during the alpha build was an issue with the lighting being different in the build than in unity, I solved this by baking the lighting so it was the same in both instances.
